at 1:02 livewire (the guy with the awesome handstands) meets up with the bar-barians. I think you'll like his upgrade of the muscle up.

I love videos like this, they just make you want to get off your backside and do it yourself!

Would be great if they had equipment like that at parks in New Zealand...

This man is better at muscle ups than I am.

Fairly impressive upper body strength. Looks like he could do with doing some squats though- his legs are like a pair of twiglets. At least livewire can jump around as well as do some cool muscle up variations.progr

Impressive power/bodyweight ratios displayed here and in the previous post. Note how none of these guys (in the previous post as well) are overly muscular. Muscle that is not "tuned", i.e, efficient in terms of the CNS, or muscle that does not contribute to the actual movement under consideration, is just so much dead weight.

I had a similar thought about these guys - they look big but some of them don't look that lean/ripped. I wonder what their BF levels are?

I would guess none of them eat paleo and reckon that if they did their strength to weight ratio would improve somewhat.

Regardless, their abilities are bloody amazing and inspiring.

The pullup to muscle up and over the bar was just sick! The video makes me just want to go hit the playground instead of the gym today!

This is amazing. How much do you all think this is training as opposed to just freakish genetics? Made me think of Lance Armstrong on a bike and having the genetic makeup to race like he did. I am not saying there is hard work that goes into doing that, or what these guys are doing, but there has to be some level of genetics involved here? Right?

lol, you guys and your genetic comments.

Stuff like this isn't that hard to do if you practice and work up to it.

...there is always some degree of genetics.

Some people could train forever and never achieve these feats.

Surprised that this guy couldn't do decent one arm pull ups. He tried a couple of times, but he couldn't quite get it--not even one.
