Interval Training and Blood Pressure

Interesting study - looks like interval training has specific benefits for people with high blood pressure

Continuous and interval exercise training were beneficial for blood pressure control, but only interval training reduced arterial stiffness in treated hypertensive subjects.

Effects of continuous vs. interval exercise training on blood pressure and arterial stiffness in treated hypertension.

Interesting.
Anybody with access to the detailed protocol used in the interval training?

That is interesting...

By the title of your article I thought it was going to say that perhaps Interval Training raised blood pressure while performing the exercise.

Great to hear that it actually helps lower blood pressure.

As always, you are on top of the recent studies.

Hmmm, I just recently started doing a lot of interval training again. I will have to see if it has an affect on my blood pressure. I never really thought about it.

Cool, thanks!
