Drew Baye: Fitness Fads are Bullshit
More from Drew (whom I interviewed here) I like the quotes around 25:00. Marketing bullshit to make money is the standard thing in much of the fitness industry.
I was really on board with this until he started generalizing all "fat" (not sure where he draws the line between fit and fat) people as lazy and then went on his big government rant. There is enought political "bullshit" (i'll you use your term) on the internet, it does not need to cross into the health and fitness realm.
With governments around the world intervening in agriculture with multi-billion dollar subsidy programs, funded by income tax taken by the barrel of a gun -- and in tandem with government run health care, which is to say health care by force and without a free market -- I really don't see how you can even begin to separate the two.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but government force and the diseases of civilization epidemic are infinitely intertwined.

great another fitness trainer who thinks he's a doctor, or something. Guys take your advice from health professionals not from a fitness instructor.
Ya, nothing like a medically prescribed low fat diet with statins for breakfast.
Maybe we can even cure my diabetes with wonderful whole grains...
Medical Doctors like Doug McGuff or John Briffa would tell you the same things a Drew.
