Part 1

Part 2

Art DeVany has long been an inspiration and had worked out most of the Paleo stuff years ago.

Plus he is tough....

He's got a lot of good stuff to say, and the guy was a pioneer. But when he mistakenly throws around terms like chaos theory and 'fractals' I simply must protest.

Is it just me or does Art often sound confused/rambling throughout the presentation?

I think he tries a bit too hard to impress us with his scientific vocabulary.

I think he tries a bit too hard to impress us with his scientific vocabulary. Add this to his frequent topical oscillations and the result is a less than effective presentation.

Definitely needs to stop trying to highbrow the presentation and present a coherent process to applying his "fractal" laws. I would also like to know how to differentiate between what we "like" to do (running / hiking) and when it becomes a harmful activity. He seems to frown upon any endurance activity due to "metronome" characteristics, yet I hardly believe we aren't capable of sustained energy expenditure without necessarily damaging the body.
