Art DeVany comments on yesterday's post

Yesterday I posted the abstract of an article about the benefits of high intensity training even when just walking. I also mentioned it in a comment on Art DeVany's blog. Art - the scientist who has written extensively on what he calls evolutionary fitness and practices what he preaches wrote a full post about the article today.

Very interesting points - the heart is meant to operate with high variation, not in the steady boring constant rate that characterises too much "cardio".
