Every now and again I when asked what I'd recommend to a person who wanted to start to train but had limited experience. I discussed this here with several ideas.
Often, I point towards Craig Ballantyne's Turbulence Training. It isn't perfect, but it is a good start and is based on solid science of the sort that I've highlighted here several times. (He has a free bodyweight programme)
Anyway, Craig has a new book out - Just Say No to Cardio. I've not seen it but it looks good value.
