Art DeVany Video

That video I pointed to the other day collapsed the server.  Art has put it on YouTube now.

He is really starting to promote the book now.

It is interesting to see how much teh paleo/primal movement has grown and moved on in recent years.  I found it all via a number of sources - I read about Stephen Wedan's experience with diet as a diabetic in Hardgainer, Barry Groves got me going low carb then Clarence Bass pointed to Art DeVany.

Seeing Art's diet now wonder where the fat is - as did Melissa - and Erwan has cetainly influenced me on  exercise, though there is still a role for the weights.

I have Art to thank for introducing me to the "thought stream" of ef/paleo/primal.

I took his advice to heart that this is something you have to figure out for yourself, which he has always made a point of saying.

I also learned a lot from his meal pictures in the early days (around 2005)
Those meals don't really match what he is saying today.....but in line with making this "EF thing" your own, he has his reasons for eating the way he does now I'm sure.

I have not been on the paid site for a year and a half so I'm not sure of the content now.

I know Art has "upset" a few folks with his bluntness or honesty if you will...I think we all owe him a good dose of gratitude for all the information he has shared freely over the years.

Any teacher worth their salt that I have ever known...was ALWAYS brutally honest. I think Art falls in that category.

FWIW, I won't be buying the book.

Hope all is well Chris. Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season.

Marc

thank you for your comment and your good wishes. This whole movement is growing fast but your blog remains a superb resource and a great source of inspiration.

you are right that we all owe much to Art and I do hold him in great esteem. I will buy and read the book - I am sure that there will be a lot to learn from it as well - possibly - as things which I might challenge.

Kind Regards

Chris
