They are great all around for casual use. I go shopping, camping, hiking, and generally have fun practicing my balance where ever I go.
My husband is a physician, and he wears his to the office almost every day. His patients are mostly kids, and they love it.(I found out about Five Fingers here. When I told hubby about them, he became a convert and he now owns three pairs of them. Five-toed sox, too!)
