Hi Chris,

doing these weighted is also a nice way to progress through the exercise as you gain strength. Chin ups are pretty easy for some people and really don't belong in a "classic strength" type of routine where you keep most sets under 12 reps. I started doing weighted dips and chin ups maybe a month and a half ago and they are a total killer. :)
