Matt recorded the conversation and we have been trying to work out how to host it on our blogs. I think I have managed it! This was the first time each of us had done this and I know we felt like we rambled a bit, but the key thing was that we enjoyed the chat and we are sharing it so that you can listen in too.
(or download the mp3)
We talked through the following topics
1) Strength – 05:44
2) Sleep – 19:10
3) Quick Simple Meals – 24:45
4) Skill/Efficient Movement - 32:12
5) Chronic Cardio – 40:00
6) Posture/Abs - 51:35
7) Stress - 58:50
8) Heart Disease - 1:03:50
9) Good Thoughts - 1:11:00

Sorry Dan. It is working for me just now. We have been struggling to learn how to post this and hopefully we will work it out
Chris
My vastus medialis was shot from about 1 metre by a paintball gun today durin great game. And instead of recovery, I am listening to fitness podcast at about 1 AM. Is this really what you wanted to accomplish Chris?:D
Please let me know if the mp3 player is working or not
It is not
Hey, I can not get it to work. Looking forward to hearing it though! Hopefully you can get it working.
It is also now on YouTube, which should be more reliable http://youtu.be/e9DU0RZ10N0
It works great now. Thank you for the post. The good thoughts section sounds like cognitive behavior therapy. I wonder if you or your readers would appreciate this http://jayuhdinger.com/category/chapters/ It goes into how to deal with your thoughts and change them. I am also curious about the advice to do nothing at times. It would be opposite of the advice of the researcher Mihaly Czikszentmihalyi who talks about the concept of flow. He states we are at our most happiest when we are in a state of heightened focus and immersion in an activity and the least happiest when we are doing nothing ie watching tv.
Great show, nice to hear some sensible, hype free, practical advice!
Also nice to hear a British (even better Northern) on a podcast too ;-)
@Shawn - I don't think "watching TV" is exactly what was being recommended....
Thanks Simon
Thanks Shawn
