Absolutely fantastic. What an inspiration. What I think is great about this is that it demonstrates that so many of the so called problems of "ageing" and infirmity are in fact about lifestyle and lack of appropriate excercise as we age, not simply inherent in ageing itself. Obviously ageing has an impact, but this demonstrates how much it is possible to counterbalance that with a bit of discipline.

Unrelated comment but just saw this in New Scientist about the relation between sleep and gaining fat:

In short, it suggests if you sleep less than 5 hours or more than 8 hours you are more likely to gain fat
