In the past - for example when asked about suggestions for a beginner - I have often recommended Craig Ballanytne's Turbulence Training workouts. They are straightforward and based on good science - basic exercises, interval training and sensible routines.

Granted, his boiler plate internet marketing copy is a bit over the top but a good example of its genre!
