I did gymnastics as a child and we had rope climbing as part of every class. It was my favorite part. It's too bad gymnastics is a sport where most elite forms are damaging enough to the body that adults don't often stick with it. Once I got to the tumbling level and started seeing my peers get injured, I quit, but I'd love to go back and do the bars, balance beam, and rope climbing.
