I can't honestly remember. It would have been 7 or 8 years ago. I found the web site somewhere and then ordered his book. This was way before the barefoot craze or the point at which Crossfit picked up on him.I was reading a lot about running form then. Gordon Pirie's book was in the mix at the same time. Google it
