Intermittent Fasting Success

Hat tip to Rachel's IF blog

This is a guy who has lost 56lb over a year by using Eat Stop Eat style intermittent fasting - i.e., 2 24 hour fasts a week, with all else staying the same....no dieting.

So many of the IF blogs and testimonies feature spectacular athletes, so it is interesting to see a normal fella losing significant weight.
Incidentally I could tell just by looking at this guy that he was from the north of England. Sure enough, when you listen to his You Tube videos he is from Yorkshire.

Brad Pillon's Eat Stop Eat is a sound approach

Anyway, the guy is Dave Ward and his blog is here.

I'm always amazed more by the subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) changes in the face, than perhaps the gut, which is also great in this example!

Funny cause the arms look very similar. People always tell me I don't need to lose weight, because I am one of those skinny arm guys with 21%+ body fat.

Pushawwwww!!! Good stuff! I saw my best results when I did 24hr ifast cycles.

Its simplicity makes it easier to adhere to. Time and mental energy also go along with it. I think it's also important to follow the prescription to do resistance workouts as well as fast.

i'm increasingly fascinated by the responses i've heard about the BP Eat Stop Eat approach. thanks for sharing this, Chris.

i wonder if it's carrying less weight around that gut that makes it easier to stand up straighter, too?

He is so clearly pushing (or relaxing) his belly out in the before picture. What possible value does this comparison have when he clearly sucking his gut in one and pushing it out in the other?!!?!
