Too much sitting - a new risk factor for disease.

This is not really news anymore, but the studies are coming.....

Lack of physical exercise is often implicated in many disease processes. However, sedentary behavior, or too much sitting, as distinct from too little exercise, potentially could be a new risk factor for disease. Sedentary lifestyle has become the most common causes of many diseases and for sure, as more people find reasons to focus on their career and get tiesd to their chair for 8 hours, the rate of lifestyle diseases will balloon.
